The second technology tidbit pertains to Microsoft losing the i4i appeal in the patent case. eWeek Microsoft Watch revealed Microsoft losing means they would have to pull Word 2003 and Word 2007 from stores within 60 days. Microsoft will also have to pay almost $300 million in fines.
