My Name is Khan: This week will see the release of My Name is Khan. The film has been in news a lot ever since it went into production.

The incident at the New Ark airport with Shah Rukh and then the Shiv Sena threatening to ban the movie.

The movie captures the essence of a relationship and various trying situations. SRK plays the role of Rizwan Khan, a man affected by Asperger Syndrome. The movie traces the journey of Khan from Mumbai to US.

While in US, Rizwan meets Mandira (Kajol) and the two get married. But, what follows are not happy times rather tough times which eventually lead to Khan and Mandira parting ways.

Khan then takes a long journey to prove his love to Mandira. What will be the outcome of this journey/ Will Khan be able to win his love back?

The movie is supported by six sound tracks by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. Let’s see if Karan Johar is able to create magic at the box office with My Name is Khan.

I might seem a little different to you. That is because I have Aspergers Syndrome. It is named after Dr Hans Aspersers who first noticed the traits in children. Having Aspergers does not mean I am stupid. I am very intelligent, but I don’t understand people. I don’t know why people say things they don’t mean. For example, they say come to my house any time, and when I go to their house they say why have you come at this time? Sometimes people think I am rude. I don’t mean to be rude, being rude is not good. My mother said there are only good people and bad people in the world and I am a good person…

My views – The direction is simply awesome and undoubtedly the best by Karan so far. The sizzling chemistry between SRK and Kajol hasn’t faded away even a bit. All the actors do justice to their roles. Music is great and already top at the charts!

Conclusion –  Get your tickets booked in advance to avoid the rush and the houseful board too! And ya, switch off your mobile while watching MNIK as missing even a single scene could leave you confused!

P.S. Don’t miss this one! It’s a movie of a lifetime!
